The Story
Far back in the mists of time, the ancient race of Shee left Albia, in search of a new home, in a huge spaceship, the Ark. The Shee were not known for their timekeeping skills, and when the ship left, one Shee scientist was left behind on an empty planet. He'd been working on a new method for traveling from place to place and only noticed that the others had left when he was satisfied that his new device was fully functional.
He decided he had to follow the rest of the Shee and show them what they had missed, so he built a new living spaceship which he called Capillata.
And then, the last of the Shee traveled on, in his eternal quest for the Shee. Time is a funny thing, however. One day it's moving along in a dependable straight line and then, Bam!, all of a sudden it takes a sharp turn or does a loop. When the Capillata finally caught up with the Shee spaceship that had left one thousand years earlier, it was deserted. Apparently, the Grendels had attacked during the flight and the Shee escaped to their new planet's surface and abandoned the spaceship in orbit. How long had it been here?
The spaceship remains, with its new "attachment", and with your help the remaining Norns can thrive. But watch out for the Grendels, a vicious breed of nasty animals intent on hurting your Norns or even stealing their eggs! To help you you¿ll find advanced machines, all of which can be plugged together to make huge automated devices. The bridge and engineering contain an encyclopedic range of gadgets to help you protect your Norns. But watch out, even in a virtual universe, there's real danger!

Zoo Tycoon 2 Extinct Animals (Pc Game)
Nevertheless, in January 2007, Windows Vista released its 2007 gaming lineup as well as a promotional video featuring a few seconds of footage. Later, in April 2007, Games for Windows added an Extinct Animals page to their website and revealed several new pieces of information such as box art and animal confirmations. The text that was shown was in fact the same as in the previous Endangered Species.
On May 24, an official press release was released on the official Zoo Tycoon website revealing that Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals will be released in "fall/autumn" with a total of 30 animals, making it the largest Zoo Tycoon 2 expansion pack to date. On amazon.com and .co.uk, it showed the release dates for Europe and the USA.
Upon the arrival of E3 2007, Games for Windows and Blue Fang Games released a second promotional video of several new features and a set of screenshots. The Extinct Animals Games for Windows page was also edited with screenshots and new information. Zoo Tycoon.com, however, was still not updated for E3.
In August 2007, Blue Fang Games released an official trailer showing many of the main features of the expansion, including sonar detection for fossils and minigames to clone creatures, as well as confirming several animals. In the same month Blue Fang employees on several fansites began releasing new information, confirming a total of eight unseen animals.
In September 2007, the official Zoo Tycoon website was finally updated with a new Extinct Animals page, in addition to screenshots, the rest of the game's features, a "fansite kit", game demo and an official screensaver.

Zoo Tycoon 2 is the sequel to the popular Zoo Tycoon, which has sold over 2 million copies. The sequel updates the graphics, but keeps much of the original gameplay the same.
You start with an open field and must build it up into a zoo. Create exhibits and populate them with animals. Build amenities and concession stands to keep visitors happy in between exhibits. Happy visitors will donate more money to your zoo so you can make it better. However, you have much more freedom in exhibit creation. You don't even need fences; a moat or ditch will suffice, as this technique is popular at real high profile zoos. There are also more animals and attractions to place in your zoo, and animal habitats look as realistic as the cartoony graphics style will allow. But the gameplay remains easy and kid-friendly as in the original.
